About Project

Ariel Mourelle is a multitalented chef with over 21 years experience  in different culinary specialities. He has worked in few of the highest rated restaurants in the country, sharing his creativity and upbeat personality through his cuisine. 

This project consists of the design of Ariel Mourelle’s website, whose main requirement is to build a site that reflects his personality, a multifaceted, creative and detail oriented spirit. Under the motto of «less is more» we will work on the website’s structure and design to reflect the meticulousness, elegance and simplicity of the client in his creative process.

Tasks

My task was to research the competition for designing optimal solutions to to achieve the goals. Demonstrate the client’s expertise as well as build an efficient and elegant website based on project requirements.

Website design including Mobile Version.

Prototyping

This process step includes building the sitemap and wireframes of pages. Creating the sitemap will help us to consider all the key pages in the site, showing their relationship to each other and defining how the sties overall navigation should be structured. Designing wireframes will provide us a detailed view of the content that will appear on each page, as well as provide a guide for defining a content hierarchy on the page.

Visual Design

Once the blueprint for the site has been defined through the creation of the sitemap and wireframes, the next step was to create a visual style. The overall visual style was determined by the needs and goals of the client; the main objective being to connect the Web with all other forms of the client’s communications.
